Things to know before booking

Checking In/Out

Guests who have a reservation can check-in after 4pm and will be required to check-out before 11am.

Pets

Typically pets are not allowed, but on occasion exceptions may be granted. If an exception is granted a pet fee will be assessed.

The penalty for having an unapproved pet on site is $500.

Cancellation Policy

You can receive a full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, a full refund will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in.

After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations within 7 days of arrival.

Since we are a year-round resort, all weather conditions are to be expected and do not create a reason for cancellation.

AMENITIES

Fire Pit

Sit back and relax by the fire with unlimited chopped wood, free of charge during your stay. Please do not cut down trees for firewood, fires are only permitted in the fire pit and wood stoves.

Fire bans must be adhered to. If there is a fire ban in place, we will notify you before your arrival and offer a propane fire pit as an alternative.

Woodstove & BBQ

Heaters are disconnected during the summer months. When a cooler night arises please feel free to utilize the woodstove in the dome. During the winter months fireplaces are reconnected and the wood stoves are then utilized to ensure things are warm and cozy.

A propane BBQ with gas is also provided onsite which can be used for cooking.

Utilities

Refuge Bay is an "off grid" site therefore there is no electricity or running water available inside the dome. Battery packs are provided for charging personal devices. For guests’ that require sleep aid machines, a generator can be supplied for a nominal fee.

There is no formal kitchen on site, however there is a barbecue with a burner, a firepit with grill and a wood stove available for light cooking inside the dome. Basic cooking necessities will also be provided with more information provided in the Welcome Guide.

Food & Drinks

Food and drinks are not provided during your stay, however we offer charcuterie boxes, s’more packages and beverages that can be ordered during booking or added to any reservation.

Orders for food and drinks must be placed 48 hours prior to arrival.
